Good ideas, but very repetitive

The ideas in this book were good but it could have easily been condensed into a PowerPoint presentation and shown in a 2 hour class setting. The basics of the book are: be empathetic, be aware of and nutral on cultural differences, and don't be a dick.

It's a good book and gives a lot of information about communicating with patients from a health professional perspective, but it was a lot of reading and was somewhat hard to study from it.
